You’ve asked us for a black dial since 2024. This is ours. A Musou Black sandwich dial absorbs 99.4% of the light that hits it, so the surface disappears and everything cut through it reads aqua — indices, minute track, hands, text, logo, and every marker on the fully lumed black ceramic bezel.

Ultra black, explained

The Diver One Abyss is an ultra black watch. The dial is finished in Musou Black, the Japanese coating that absorbs 99.4% of visible light, so it reads as depth rather than color. No gradient, no texture, nothing to catch the light. Just aqua hands, aqua indexes, and a fully lumed aqua bezel scale floating in front of it. The coating cannot be polished or reworked once it is applied, which is why these dials are made in small numbers.

In the box

Flat link bracelet with microadjustment

Warranty

Wren watches carry a 2-year warranty from the date of shipment indicated on the warranty card. This includes the movement, case, dial, hands, crown, and bracelet/strap. The warranty does not include any issues that occur due to mishandling and/or damaging the watch. Normal wear-and-tear on the case or bracelet/strap is also excluded. Furthermore, any work carried out by a non-authorized third party will void the warranty.

Returns

You may return your watch within 14 days of your receipt. Refunds will only be issued for new items, without signs of wear or damage, in the original packaging.

The watch must be in brand new, unworn condition.
